With a maze of sleek carbon frames, an intricate web of spokes and mosaic of colour-pop helmets, the Berliner Fahrradshau - or Berlin Bike Show – and we were pumped to be back for what was to be was to be an awesome festival of contemporary cycling design.
Dubbed ‘the world's leading cycle lifestyle fair’ our second time at the show did not disappoint, as new faces blended seamlessly with old friends to welcome us back to the event. Organised to coincide with Berlin Bicycle Week, which saw everything from bike polo to a bicycle cinema gracing the city streets, the Fahrradshau was attended by many of the biggest names in the European cycling community – the perfect opportunity to showcase our range latest range of including our first ever women’s capsule collection.
Huez* was proud to team up with Rob Quirk of Quirk Cycles, one of the UKs outstanding new custom fame builders, which combines the latest technology with eye-catching design. Combined with mouthwatering 86mm rim carbon fibre wheels from our friends at Parcour, the Huez* stand drew excited crowds despite the tough competition from the likes of Feska and PoloAndBike.
With spring sunshine in the air and an electric, festival-like atmosphere buzzing around the city, I can’t wait to be back in Berlin for the Berlin Fixed 42 in May 2017. Check back to see my update on the race, or follow the story on Instagram.More stories
