Tuscan Adventure April 2016

Ride with the pro

Take sun-drenched landscapes and combine with equal parts history, rustic charm and warmth of the ‘Toscani’, the region’s incredible cuisine and wine, and you have the recipe for an unforgettable cycling mini break. This weekend’s bike trip accommodates intermediate and advanced levels of cyclists, with full support from Max Lelli, a seasoned professional cyclist, with 14 Tour de France under his belt, who will impart his knowledge and expertise to help improve your riding and guide the group through the Tuscan countryside. Pedal a top-of-the-range carbon bike through lush vineyards, and in the evening put your feet up after a traditional Italian meal and superb local wines.

This year marks the second anniversary of the trip and we would love to have you riding with us. The package is all inclusive and provides the best of Tuscan hospitality. For £560 we will get you to your accommodation in the beautiful town of Porto Ercole and ensure you are well fed and watered for the entire duration of the trip. The group will fly to Rome on Thursday the 14th of April. On Friday morning we will drive over to Max’s farm in Manciano and get you set up with a top of the line Max Lelli carbon bike, measured up by the man himself. The first day sees the group complete a wonderful 120km circuit taking in some of the most beautiful hill top towns in Tuscany. On our return we will have a pasta party Italian style at Max’s farm. On Saturday we will again regroup at Max’s house and ride out with some of the local cyclists in a peloton reminiscent of the giro d’Italia, we advise you time your attacks well though as the locals don’t give up easily! Once the ride is over we will regroup around some amazing cheese and wine from Max’s vineyard. We will then head back to Monte Argentario for some lunch and down time on the beach or at 14th century fortifications that surround the port. Sunday we will head out on the final and shortest ride of the trip along the beautiful coastline.

If you would like to join us on this epic trip, or would like further information please contact, bookings close 15th of November.
